^^"simply being loved." thats our guard's song. very repetitive- but i love it. our whole theme this year is love. i love guard. i love our show. i love all of the guard girls.

winterguard=love.

winterguard competition was amazing!! my leg didnt hurt during the comp. so competed! thank God. it would have been the worst day ever if i didnt. technically we didnt compete against anyone because last year we won state and moved up a class. but all the other teams loved it. some people were locked outside so whenever i let them in they circled around me and started telling me how our show was so awesome. yes, hard work pays off. :) that happened a couple more times throughout the comp, so by the end of the night around 30 people had told me our show was so great. i guess our run through was pretty awesome.

the fives caught. all of them. wow.

the flag exchanges caught. all of them(even me!)

the sabre exchanges caught. everyone of them.

and shelby lynn collier caught her solo.

whenever shelby caught her solo, the audience freaked out. they probably screamed more when she caught than whenever the flag exchanges caught or the fives caught. she did fabulous. lol, then she hit my hand. not so fabulous. she hit my hand so hard that, even though i was wearing gloves, i still got a bruise.

i think i broke my nose during the competition too. not even kidding. oops.

after i got home, me, shelbs, brittany, and chad went to the movies. lol, we saw hitch. i loved it! its soo funny. :) it ran late, so we by the time we left it was past tulsa curfew, went home ate chocolate. what a great ending to a fabulous day. :)

i cant wait till next saturday. competition number 2- lizzy.
